We are fully insured Art Installers and are covered by AAI Limited trading as GIO. Our insurance covers Public Liability and Product Liability of us to $5,000,000. For Art Transport or Art in our care we are covered for up to $500,000 per item. We also have current working with children check (WWCC) & National Police Check which gives you peace of mind. Currently, in accordance with section 66(1) of the NSW Residential Tenancies Act, tenants are allowed to install fixtures or make alterations, renovations or additions to a rental premises if they have written consent from the landlord or the residential tenancy agreement permits. As long as once you end your lease you return the walls to their original condition. We offer repair services for end of Lease Tenancy. First of all you all need to find out from your building manager or agent what the wall colour code is. We can offer a full patch and paint service. If you have been specifically told in your Tenancy agreement that you cannot drill holes or are refused permission then there are a few "damage-free" solutions available from 3M such as adhesive picture hooks however, we do not install these products for you, as they can fail easily plus they can also peel paint off the walls which creates more damage than just drilling holes. We do not recommend using Sticky hooks for any hanging of Artworks of Mirrors.

We also offer advice on pieces you may be looking at purchasing or can point you in the right direction for new or existing art pieces that would suit your premises. You art install appointment will include placement advice for the space. How should you match different shapes, sizes, and shades within a room, taking into account your furniture and lighting?

Our Professional Picture and Mirror hanging service includes supply of all hanging wire, D-rings, French Cleats for the Heavy items plus even Secure Brackets for Artworks that are in public places so they cannot be removed. If at the time of your appointment we deem that the fixture is not sufficient this would incur additional charges for hanging products such as a French Cleat. We supply basic fixtures for your hanging at no extra cost.

Of course we can. Hanging Pictures and Mirrors is an art-form itself. Most of the time it does not allow us to hang items into Stud work on your Gyprock walls. We have fixtures that we use for any weighted Art and Mirror pieces. There has not been any Artwork or Mirror that we have not been able to hang on a Gyprock wall.

A question we get asked quite a fair bit is "Do we hang using Picture Rails?" Most houses more than 40 years old have Victorian Picture Moulding Rails, some newer premises have Gallery Rails installed.

We hang using both types of rails. We supply and use professional hanging fixtures supplied by FX Hanging Systems in Balmain. These are not only the best to use as the Nylon wire is clear but the zipper adjustable hooks can take a fair bit of weight on them.

If you are wanting to hang using either of these systems then you would need mainly 2 wire kits per picture if its over 50cm wide. Also to hang flush against the wall we add mini D drings to hang from otherwise the frames stick out on an angle.

We work with leading Interior designers in planning Foyer and Floor Level artworks for new or renovated Apartment complexes or office spaces. We can offer a complete package which includes attending Executive Committee meetings to discuss the Strata Plan needs and present concept ideas to work out the overall theme needed with residents. We can supply any type of themed frames or mirrors for these types of projects which included Fire Regulated information plus Secure Mounting brackets installed so they cannot be removed from the walls in public spaces.

1. Bookings & Payment

1.1 All service bookings are calculated at a minimum charge of two (2) hours, regardless of the actual time required for the job.

1.2 Additional travel time is charged and calculated from our base location to your property and back.

1.3 All bookings must be prepaid in full at the time of confirmation. We do not accept payment after service completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.4 Failure to make payment in advance may result in the cancellation of your booking.

2. Pricing & Invoicing

2.1 All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise specified.

2.2 A detailed invoice will be issued upon confirmation of your booking. Any adjustments required (e.g., if work exceeds booked time) will be invoiced separately and must be settled within 7 days.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

3.1 You may cancel or reschedule your booking by providing at least 48 hours’ notice.

3.2 Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the minimum 2-hour service charge plus travel.

3.3 Refunds for cancellations made outside of 24 hours will be processed minus any applicable merchant or administrative fees.

4. Refunds & Consumer Guarantees

4.1 Our services are covered by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees that:

• Services will be provided with due care and skill.

• Services will be fit for the purpose that the customer made known.

• Services will be delivered within a reasonable time.

4.2 If you believe the service provided was faulty or did not meet expectations under ACL, please contact us at info@hangingtough.com.au within 7 days of service delivery to request a remedy.

4.3 Remedies may include re-performance of the service or a partial/full refund, depending on the nature of the issue, in accordance with your consumer rights.

5. Liability & Access

5.1 It is your responsibility to ensure safe and reasonable access to the property where services are to be performed.

5.2 We are not liable for:

• Damage resulting from hidden or unknown structural conditions within your walls (e.g., pipes, wiring, unstable surfaces).

• Pre-existing damage to surfaces, frames, or objects.

• Personal injury or property damage caused by misused or tampered installations after completion.
