Hanging Tough - Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings & Payment
1.1 All service bookings are calculated at a minimum charge of two (2) hours, regardless of the actual time required for the job.
1.2 Additional travel time is charged and calculated from our base location in each state to your property and back.
1.3 All bookings must be prepaid in full at the time of confirmation. We do not accept payment after service completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.4 Failure to make payment in advance may result in the cancellation of your booking.
2. Pricing & Invoicing
2.1 All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise specified.
2.2 A detailed invoice will be issued upon confirmation of your booking. Any adjustments required (e.g., if work exceeds booked time) will be invoiced separately and must be settled within 7 days.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
3.1 You may cancel or reschedule your booking by providing at least 48 hours’ notice.
3.2 Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the minimum 2-hour service charge plus travel.
3.3 Refunds for cancellations made outside of 24 hours will be processed minus any applicable merchant or administrative fees.
4. Refunds & Consumer Guarantees
4.1 Our services are covered by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees that:

Services will be provided with due care and skill.

Services will be fit for the purpose that the customer made known.

Services will be delivered within a reasonable time.
4.2 If you believe the service provided was faulty or did not meet expectations under ACL, please contact us at info@hangingtough.com.au within 7 days of service delivery to request a remedy.
4.3 Remedies may include re-performance of the service or a partial/full refund, depending on the nature of the issue, in accordance with your consumer rights.
5. Liability & Access
5.1 It is your responsibility to ensure safe and reasonable access to the property where services are to be performed.
5.2 We are not liable for:

Damage resulting from hidden or unknown structural conditions within your walls (e.g., pipes, wiring, unstable surfaces).

Pre-existing damage to surfaces, frames, or objects.

Personal injury or property damage caused by misused or tampered installations after completion.

We provide quotes based on the information supplied to us. If any heavy items are involved and this was not disclosed with detailed photos and accurate weight at the time of quoting, we may require assistance onsite. If needed, a second installer can be arranged at an additional cost.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 All content on picturehanging.com.au, including text, logos, and images, is the property of the business and may not be reproduced without written permission.
7. Changes to Terms
7.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
